A few weeks ago, I got this complimentary Influenster’s box in the mail. To my surprise it had the Biossance Rose Face Mask inside. Today I thought I would share with you a little about this product along with the oil, and give you my HONEST review and what I think about it!

First let me explain a little about this face mask… This is a face mask that helps with the overall brightness of the skin after one use. It’s loaded with all the healthy things your skin needs like 10% vitamin C, energizing ginseng and calming road oil. The vitamin C activates upon application and transforms this gel into a cream and leaves you with a brighter complexion! If you continue to use it can help:

  • Instantly revitalize dull skin within minutes for a radiant-looking complexion

  • Pure, stabilized 10% vitamin C suspended in Squalane activates upon application, transforming from a gel to a cream to visibly brighten

  • Energizes and plumps the look of stressed skin; helps protect against environmental aggressors

  • Transforms dull skin within minutes, improves texture and discoloration over time

  • Improves skin tone, texture and discoloration over time

Now let me explain a little about the oil. This face oil helps with similar issues- like brightens, firms, and even skin tone and texture. This formula combines with the brightening power of Vitamin C, and rose oil to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Visibly brightens with an oil-soluble, stable form of  Vitamin C.

  • With Rose Oil to help leave skin exceptionally healthy-looking and radiant.

  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Okayyy, here’s how I feel about both products. As someone that has a super combination of oily and dry skin, my face is very unpredictable. So I need something that isn’t too oil but not going to dry my skin out because I honestly can’t win. It needs to be a soft middle of both.

With the face mask, I used it a couple times a week (3 at the most) and I will have to say.. I think it’s a great mask. my face has been on the oily side this week and this didn’t make my face feel gross after 20 or 30 minutes. It made my face smooth, WAAAY brighter and after a couple uses my pores began to shrink! Which is very helpful because my pores are huge! I will also add that it smells really amazing. I love the smell of rose oil!

Now with the face oil. I was super skeptical about using this because when you have oily skin, obviously adding more oils into the mix won’t help.. And I read some reviews and a lot of people say it gives them pretty bad acne or worsened their acne and that’s not something I can handle with my wedding coming up in 2 weeks. So I used it one time. I think after using it myself, It made my skin UNBELIEVABLY soft. Like, it was crazy. But, of course it did make my face appear oily, which is to be expected while using a face oil. I think this would be great if you had dry skin. So I’ll continue to use, not daily for the sake of acne but when my face dries out.

So, for a final say do I think they both work? I do. They both called for brightness and helping with your skin texture. I think they both did that. Will I continue to use both? I will use the face mask 2 times a week along with my other skin products. I will not be using the oil everyday, though only when I’m on the drier side.
