Kimono Robe (Similar) – $14.99 | Charcoal Mask – $34 | Rubber Applicator – $9.99

I love, love, love beauty products. Any type of face creams, serums, or masks, I love them all! I just love having my face feel clear and soft and fresh.

The other day I got the Origins Clear Improvement™ Charcoal Honey Mask (complimentary) in the mail. And of course, when I find a product, good or bad, I gotta share with my peeps! So you don’t waste your time or money. It’s just what peeps do. So let’s see my honest review about this product.

Okay, let’s start by finding out what it is, what this product is supposed to do, and is it right for you?

What It Is:

“It says this is a gentle, purifying mask that detoxes while nourishing skin, leaving it feeling comfortably clean, clear, and conditioned.”

  • In a sense, it’s like any other mask that you put on, it dries and you wash it off with warm water. It says to help pores, and improve the overall freshness and texture of your skin.It does also say to use it once a week, or as many times as needed. I personally used it on Mondays and Fridays. Safe, but effective.

Which Skin Type Is It Good For?

Normal
Oily
Combination
Dry

Great For:

– Pores
– Oiliness
– Dullness and uneven texture

More Information:

“Formulated with bamboo charcoal, this purifying mask actively, thoroughly cleans and draws out deep-dwelling pore-cloggers, impurities, and debris. Golden wildflower and fermented honey help nourish skin, leaving it feeling perfectly pure and completely conditioned.”

So, knowing everything about the product is the key to see if it is the right thing for you. With that being said, here’s what I found through the product.

What Happened When I Used It?

After I used this product, I felt my skin and it felt great! As if I put on a moisturizer, great. Which changed the way the texture of my skin was. Usually after I do a mask like this, I always use a moisturizer, or in general have to wash my face AFTER using it because it feel sticky and with this mask, I didn’t do either.

The other things I noticed were that my pores did actually shrink. It really blew my mind! It didn’t happen over night, but after like, the third time I noticed they didn’t seem a lot less noticeable.

I would declare myself to be a normal/dry skin type of person. So, when I used this product I wasn’t really knowing what to expect, other than I have tried charcoal products before and they RUINED my skin. This wasn’t the case. I have oily skin when I wake up, I use this product and I seen that for the most part, it controlled just how much oil I had on my skin by the end of the day.

It didn’t help me personally with acne. I will say that’s the only flaw that I have with this product. I feel that maybe if I use it more than a few weeks, it will entually help clear my acne but for now no improvements here.

Final Thoughts?

I never thought that I would honestly find a product that actually worked for me in the sense of helping in so many affected areas. I love that it helped with my pores, texture, moisturizing and my dry/oiliness. I love charcoal products and this one cant be beat. Also, IT SMELLS AMAZING! Exactly how you think it would smell like, HONEY.

I found it easier to use this applicator to put the mask on, for a heads up.

Would I buy this product again?

IN A HEARTBEAT.

9/10
