Bible Verse Week: 17

The phrase- Easy like Sunday morning is in full swing today as I sit here in bed with my fiancé and type this. I had an amazing week with family this past week and I miss them so dearly… But when in hard times, I like to think to myself, there’s one thing that makes me feel better.

THE LORD.

Psalm 30:4-5

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
    praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.

This is a verse that makes me smile every time I read it. It makes me happy because there is so much truth behind it.

Sing the praises of the Lord you faithful people. Praise his holy name. Let’s praise his name and sing to the sky our faith!

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. When he who gets mad, you stay mad only for a moment. God’s anger is short-lived as in those who have sinned. But his favor lasts a lifetime. You mess up, we all mess up… But, that doesn’t mean he can’t forgive you.

Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Sadness, like anger acts in short terms- Moments. But, rejoicing… That comes in the morning. Even though you are hateful or sad, you rejoice to the lord. Because there’s so much to rejoice for!

That’s all that I have today for this bible verse. I hope you may have heard what I was saying and enjoyed chatting about christ with me. Until next time, friends. ♥︎
