Hi friend-os! 🇺🇸
Obviously this weekend is Memorial Day weekend, and for me, anytime the fiancé and I are entertaining guests, I love to do A L L the DIYs. From drinks to flowers… This Memorial Day, bring on the red, white, & blue with these do it yourself-ers to make your party the best!
(Food will come later 😉)
First off, these ADORABLE drink stirrers! Lauren Conrad, is my absolute fav blogger… (I’ve told y’all that, a lot) She did stirrers and also those cute ice cubes! Both would be perfect to keep your drinks cool and cold!
You for sure need a table decoration that stands out, and this is so cute! (Not the best picture) But, so easy and cute! Get vases, fill them up with water and blue food dye, add white and red flowers, (with some greenery) and some flags if you will, but not necessary and done!
Such an easy idea for storing your utensils! There’s sooo many idea’s but how easy is this? And cute? Use old containers like oatmeal, breadcrumbs anything along that nature and glue scrapbook paper or free printable papers to the outside and write on chalkboard stickers or write directly on it!
If decorating your lawn is something you wanna do but you wanna save money, this DIY is seriously soooo simple and budget friendly. Literally all you do is outline stars with a piece of cardboard, lay it on the grass and spray with construction marking spray paint!
A good banner is always a must for any party.. This one seems time consuming, but reusable for years, and for well under $15! Tie cut-up fabric around some string and hang anywhere!
Bunting is something that is like, overused every year… But I understand why because its super cute and classy. This one is simple to do! Determine length based on wear you want to use it, get some fabric, and use yarn to hang!
Back to table scape… This would be so easy to recreate! Use cute mason jars for drinks or cheap flutes with straws (or cute DIY stirrers) Buy plates and napkins and tie twine to tie a name tag!
Setting up the food is a pretty main decor space for any party! You wanna set the food up in a way that makes it look organized but still cute. This is a simple, way to setup the food but keeping it looking organized with all the decorations BEHIND the table. Use paper fans behind the table and a blue tablecloth along with a red and white designed table cloth and done– Under $10!!!
When it’s Memorial Day, and you’re throwing a party… You have to have a favor for your guests. The best way to celebrate is with POP-ITS, sparklers, bubbles, and party poppers. Along with those you could also patriotic candy! Put them in a cute bucket and hand it out to guests! So fun!
The last and final thing is the Memorial Day remembrance table. This is a beautiful way to remember the ones who have passed. Learn more here.
(This printable is free to print! ↑ )
Annnnd that is all! I hope I covered everything. And I want you all to enjoy these decor ideas and have a fabulous weekend surrounded by all the ones here today and remembering those who aren’t.
Happy Memorial Day!
