HI FRIENDS!

Yesterday I had all the coffee shop vibes. I went to a cute little place downtown in Lake Charles and I fell in love with it! It’s about 13 minutes from my house and I couldn’t love a place more. If you like in Lake Charles, LA or near – DEF visit! Stellar Beans. The vibe was so chill, everyone is so nice and they bring their laptops and work or whatever and they play the C O O L E S T music!

Anywhooo while at this cute little place, I decided to bring my MacBook and read a little of the Bible. (I love this website) And while reading I came across this bible verse:

17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

I posted this on my Instagram yesterday saying, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting windows.” James 1:17
How true is this beautiful sentence? 🙌🏼 Every good and perfect gift is from the lord himself. Everyday there is such a wonderful gift to be thankful for, even if sometimes it doesn’t seem that way. We cling to this feeling that we are missing something from our lives, and then we want more. And when we feel like we haven’t got those things, we start to question him. Why can’t I have these things if he is so good? Then we get led into doubt, temptation.
So this is a reminder: The lord is so good and so many good things come from him. Sometimes we take for granted the little things and forget to tell the Lord, “thank you.”
So today friends, thank him. For he is more wonderful than we could ever imagine! 💗

I just thought I would go farther into this scripture. We do always thank God for all the good times in our life. But in the bad times in our life we forget to mention the good times and start to question the bad times.. It’s in our DNA.

So the hard thing is to remain faithful and not question him when something doesn’t go our way. What does it mean to remain faithful in hard times? It means continuing to acknowledge that God is the source of what is good in our lives, and what will be good in the future. So even in the bad times, praise him. He does all good.. but in the good and bad, praise him.
