This is my 10TH (non-consecutive) week doing bible verses! This was a pretty awesome thing that I started. It not only reminds me that I need to read the Bible, but it gives me a chance to read the Bible and do some cute doodles!!
But, to be able to do that stuff and have a platform that I can actually talk with people that want to hear and be apart of God, is INCREDIBLE!
So that being said, lets get into the Bible verse shall we :)
The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.Psalms 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield — When you have rough times and you feel low, the lord is always there. When you feel that you’re dragging through the dirt and it’ll never get better… think of the lord. He will build you up and let you overcome anything. He is your strength, will always be your strength. Just as much, he is your shield. When the devil throws at you troubles and tribulations, the lord works as a shield, to block all of those little things that make it hard to concentrate on working for the lord, and praising him.
My heart trusts in him, and he helps me — For obvious reasons, you put your trust in the Lord. Not half, your whole, entire heart. Let your heart trust in him because he won’t let you down. He will be there for you and pick you up. He’s not a friend that has lied and broke your trust. He’s 100% had your back and has given no reason to not trust in him. He helps you. Forever and always, he will always be your guidance and and help you, be a friend when you need him most.
My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him — My heart leaps for joy!! When you have such a wonderful relationship with the Lord, you can’t help but be wholeheartedly happy! With many ways to praise the lord, sing to him! People think the only way to praise the Lord is to know the bible and go to church. Well yeah! But, singing to the Lord is just another way to worship him and let him know just how incredible he is!
Knowing the lord is your strength and shield, trusting in him, and praising him anyway you know how is just the beginning to a wonderful relationship! He’s a good friend when you let him in. 💕
